Current Stage

Great Expectations: The Making of a Gentleman is currently in active development.

This structured development pipeline — table read, workshop, and staged reading — remains uncommon in new Irish musical theatre.

Following a table read in March 2026, the script and score were refined in a focused rehearsal period that culminated in a staged reading at Wexford Arts Centre in June, presented with a cast, pianist, and director for an invited audience. The project is now preparing for an Arts Council Theatre Project Award (Strand 4) application in July 2026, with a full production planned for 2027 (pending funding).
